Yep, my pals at The Place are predicting my computer’s dismissal for tomorrow. I ask that you keep my baby PowerBook in your prayers…really, I am lost without it, and I know you’re dying without your photos. Stay patient…they’re on their way here.

In the meantime, only a few spaces left this fall. If you’re thinking about doing family photos for Christmas, give me a ring and we’ll set something up. Hope all is well where you are.

Cross your fingers and your toes :-), Elizabeth

Update on the computer: the laptop should be fixed by Tuesday…if the problem is what they think it is. Currently my computer is lying unassembled in the “computer hospital.” I also ordered a new sister for my laptop, meet the iMac. I am soo excited!! The iMac will allow me to work faster, and thus better for you.

I would like to thank the computer Gods at Apple for sending me to The Place here in Bowling Green. They were most amazing about loaning me a personal computer of theirs so I could keep working, even making sure it had all the programs I needed, and pulling my needed information off of my sick laptop. They, too, hooked me up with a new iMac and explained all of the computer lingo to me – I couldn’t be more pleased with their services! They are AMAZING!

Anywho, here is the beautiful Kelli Baker. Kelli and I had so much in common which made this shoot fabulous! She LOVES shoes (hello, who doesn’t?), she shows saddlebreds (me too!) and she attends Simpsonville Baptist (yep, me too). We really tried to create some unique images to show off her fabulous personality, and I think we did a great job! Thanks to Kelli’s mom, Jo for some of our entertainment and the fabulous Keith and Lisa Harger at Ridgecrest for allowing us to shoot on their farm. I had a blast – enjoy!

Thanks Elizabeth. These are gorgeous. We’ve gotten lots of positive feedback and a friend who wants your number. Now on to the difficult task of deciding what to purchase!

Well, folks, this week has been a rough one for Lizzie Loo…the clients page is not operating again and the computer is still out of order. I apologize for the inconvenience. Hopefully by Tuesday everything will be in order. I am as equally….correction…WAY MORE FRUSTRATED than you are. Again, I apologize. If you have any questions feel free to call me, .502.643.6253. or email elizabeth@lizzieloo.com. At this point calling is your best option, as checking my email is near impossible. Ugh. My sincerest apologies.

I spent my day today moving back into school, settling in and having my computer die on me. Yes….my computer die. I am not sure if it is taking a LOOOONNNGG rest, or if it is really dead, but it isn’t taking a charge and isn’t turning on. I am working to resolve the problem, but in the meantime if you don’t hear back on emails, be patient. Thanks…and when it works there were lots of blog images saving. Maybe it’s just sooo shocked by all of the work it’s been doing and is only taking the day off..I hope.

Sad news, I know, but the clients page is down. Unfortunately the company that built my original site has gone MIA, so I’ve got no help, but my new cart is due to be completed soon! Until then, ordering is put on hold.

I will work very hard to have all images ready, so as soon as the site can launch, it will launch.

For those of you in waiting:

.If you had previously made an order, that information is all held, and your images have been ordered.
.If your gallery was up and due to expire, no problem. Everyone whose gallery was posted at any point before the fall, you will receive 7 days at the beginning of the launch – even if your gallery had expired!
.New clients, particularly those shot this week or last, stay tuned to the blog for your sneak peek, and as soon as the site launches, you too will receive an extra 7 days.

Sorry for the inconvenience. What a pain!

ETA: My nerdy skills paid off again – the clients page is up and running for now! Access it through the main site or here.

A few weekends ago I got to third shoot a wedding with the fabulous Shelley Rassenfoss. For those who don’t know, I scored an internship with Shelley last summer as I began to get my feet off the ground, and since then she has given me so many opportunities to continue learning. And learn was just what I did. I feel the images don’t have an amazing storyline, most were me trying out new things when I got to be just the sidekick. However, I did land some neat and different-for-me captures.

The wedding was held in the packed Graefenburg Baptist Church. I would guess there were near 400 folks squished into the sanctuary and overflow room. (On the floor was my position for the ceremony) In the basement of the church the couple had their ceremony projected onto a white wall so everyone could join in on their big day.

Lindsay looked amazing and they were both so calm and collected, despite 90 degree temperatures. The reception was held in Frankfort at the Plaza hotel. Lots of fun was had by all including Shelley, Liza and myself. Thanks for letting me tag along!

Hope all is well with you! Summer has REALLY blessed me, and you all have kept me super busy! Did I mention I LOVE my job? This busy summer has allowed me to bring in a new site with a fresh, easy to remember address: www.lizzieloo.com, as well as this gorgeous blog. The old www.lizzieloophotography.com will still be around, it will just send you to the new, streamlined site.

The fabulous Chris Trott customized this spectacular blog for me. Photographers out there; he was GREAT to work with and does just what you’d like – he even managed to put up with picky me!!

I am absolutely crazy about the rotating headers. I plan to make one from each shoot and wedding EVER. Each time the page is refreshed, a new header will pop up – a little variety for ya.

My all time favorite part are the new comment boxes. So advanced, and they allow you to see all the comments without having to click away. Also, if you have a website, enter it when you post your comment and it will provide a link for folks to check ya out. Hope that was enough of a hint for you to check in and comment OFTEN! I always welcome your feedback and really appreciate it! Hint, hint :-)

Please note that all posts before here are old, and are a bit different, with smaller images.

Stay tuned…I’m riding the catch up train, and you may just see yourself on here. Enjoy your weekend!
