.tyler.

Tyler and I were babysat together when I was much smaller, so it was very full-circle to take part in his senior photographs. We met at the athletic complex, where Tyler spends most of his time playing soccer. Hope you enjoy these!

By the way, I just want to make sure that everyone hears about the most-awesome candy EVER. I have been a fan of Fran’s Chocolate’s Gray Salt Caramels for a few summers now. I first discovered them at Zingerman’s on a trip and would allow myself one per week until they were gone. Pretty much, they’re AMAZING! You should check them out or gift them. You’ll have all sorts of friends :-)

.meet.corie.

A bit of a double post, with Corie’s senior pictures and an exciting announcement. As the senior season has fully begun, Corie will be joining Lizzie Loo as an intern. She’ll be answering the phone, coming along to sessions, doing office work, making me laugh and much more. She’s a blast and a HUGE help to have around. Enjoy her photos and get excited to meet her!

Most exciting for you, with Corie around I have more time to do what I love: pictures! So keep checking back for more blog posts. We’re a bit behind, but there is lots to share :)

.a.super.sneak.
I’ve been a busy little bee, so here are some super previews..everyone’s full post to come soon.

.tiffany.
Hope you LOVE these images from Tiffany’s senior session. Lucky for us we barely evaded the rain – and had LOTS of laughs. And HELLO, her hair looks amazing..especially for being such a yuck-o day outside. She’s maybe inspiring me to go short…oh geeze. Thanks, thanks, thanks and enjoy what’s left of your weekend!

.jenny.and.chris.
Here are a few from an engagement shoot I did this week in Lexington for one of my photo friends, Jenny Brookins, of Image Jolie. She’s super sweet, and working with her and her fiance, Chris, was a breeze…a little pressure, but really fun. They have such a genuine, gentle connection. I love it…

To those of you seniors looking for your sneak peeks, know that I am working as hard and fast as I can…but keep checking back, your time to shine is just around the corner :-) Have a good weekend everyone!
.sister.sara.
Here’s the start of my sister Sara’s senior session. Lucky for her (and me) we’re sisters and her session can go on for weeks and weeks as opposed to hours. These were shot on our Fourth of July trip to Michigan. The last one is for sure Sara’s personality. Enjoy!

.home.for.a.while.

I’m home, sweet, home with lots to edit, lots to shoot and lots to do. Keep checking in here, there is LOTS to come. The start of my sister’s never-ending senior session (ahh, the perks of being related), the final product from the enVision workshop, senior sessions, new products and lots more. Things are happening and I’m trying to keep up :-)
Since no post is pretty without a picture, here is a shot of my sisters and I on Sara’s Michigan senior session :-) Enjoy your day, even if it is a little cloudy.
.sweet.christina.
The workshop is wrapping up quite nicely. We’ve been up all night working on the production of the final DVD and website. I am very excited for the kids to see their work, and to have such a neat piece to take home with them.
Here is a sneak peek well overdue. Since I was a wee little lady, I have gone to church with Christina’s family and have watched her grow into a great young woman. She plans to become a kindergarten teacher after her graduation which is a most perfect match for her character and personality. We had lots of fun shooting – even after we got rained out. Enjoy these few images.

Just a reminder, I am headed to Michigan today to spend time with my family for the fourth. All emails and phone calls will be returned early this week. Hope all is swell.
.hart.county.fair.
Last night we took the campers to the Hart County Fair to work on their shooting. It was the perfect environment with lots of character, color and opportunity. All these are mine, aside from those that look like me – those are my friend, Nathan’s. I love this.

They should pay you a commission. They look absolutely delicious!
