Adrienne + Braden I Engagement

Posted on September 20th, 2009 by Elizabeth. Filed in Engagement Photos

And so they met in 2006 in the corner at a party. Adrienne’s brother, Andrew, introduced her to Braden at a New Years party. After a long bout of keeping in touch, pen-pal style, Braden finally asked Adrienne out on a date in 2008. On their one year anniversary they took a visit to Butler University’s Halcomb Gardens, where they had kissed for the first time. The plan was to have a picnic, but Braden had a bit more up his sleeve. On the bench where they first kissed, Braden asked Adrienne for her hand in marriage. In her excitement, she called her mom to announce the news before ever accepting his offer.

Last weekend as I drove to Indianapolis to document their love in the same gardens where they fell for one another, I couldn’t help but be excited. Adrienne has an infectious personality. Every phone conversation she hangs up more excited about her big day then when I answered. She even sent me a ‘drive safe, we’re excited text’ on my drive up. I later learned nearly everything about her is infectious and genuine – her laugh, her energy – her love for Braden. I hope you see in these images how invigorating their love is – how genuine and real. I left our session much more light-hearted and peaceful. And very, very excited for what their April wedding has in store. I can hardly wait for a dance off..a sing off…lots of cream and black…and I am sure lots and lots of laughs and love. Enjoy!

Lauren and I grew up together, were raised together….and I just love how these images of her turned out. She needed a collection of images for an avenue she’s re-exploring. Good luck, Lauren, I think you’ll do quite well – I mean who could say no to your hottie-pictures :-) Enjoy!

I was gone…then I moved…now I’m back!

Posted on September 3rd, 2009 by Elizabeth. Filed in Personal

It’s official, Lizzie Loo has moved. We have a new address and soon we’ll be having a gathering to celebrate the new space. But for now, a little update on things. The office is officially open for appointments and has seen four seniors this week – yay!

Last week I spent a few days in Pennsylvania/New Jersey/New York with Jake. We visited New York City, ate lots of pizza and spent time with his family. I had a great time and am still full from all of the yummy foods we tasted – his family, like he is, are amazing cooks. (This is awesome, because I cannot cook a thing..only bake sweet things) Thanks to his family to spoiling me – it was so great to have a break and spend time with such wonderful people. It was super to see where Jaker grew up, too. Anywho, enjoy a few images, and keep checking back for some sweet portraits! Happy Friday!

Jake shot the image above, and I’m not sure who shot the one below, but I love the feel of it.
