Tell me I don’t have the bestest friends ever. Yesterday on my whirlwind of a Thanksgiving I got to spend some time with one of my besties, Julie. And yes, she really is as silly and amazing as she looks…

I am soooo thankful for my wonderful friends and family! Hope your turkey day was filled with more hugs and kisses than pounds and pounds of food :-)

Photo Family

Posted on November 19th, 2008 by Elizabeth. Filed in Personal, School

Whoever shot our silly session is being super-slow about posting the images….but I found these two on Facebook (btw, are we friends?). The first is a pet photo. Leila Loo wore her little Ho, ho, ho! t-shirt. The next is a photo with Jake – many of you have met him helping me shoot weddings. More coming soon..promise. And more Bear’s photos, all of you Bears football fans.

Silly time

Posted on November 14th, 2008 by Elizabeth. Filed in Personal, School, Uncategorized

Thought I should post something for you all – I am working hard on my bears story and wrapping up my sports portfolio. In the meantime here is a funny picture from a few weeks ago. Tonight, the PJ’S (photojournalism students) will all gather in the studio after our evening of shooting ballgames and take ‘family portraits.’ It really involves some super ugly Christmas sweaters, lots of tinsel and a person dressed as a present. Anywho – albums that are overdue should be heading your direction soon – all images have been posted to the cart and the 15% off holiday sale is going strong. Hope you are well!

Bears Bonding

Posted on October 10th, 2008 by Elizabeth. Filed in Personal, School, Wedding Photos

I love this image I shot at practice last night. As you may have read, I am following the head coach of the bears football team here in Bowling Green. The boys are in the 12-13-year old bracket and are quite hard on themselves at times.

Here is an image of a player crying next to his father, also a coach. Practices are so intense, but this dad, (who is also a minister and gets everyone so fired up, people walk out of the sermon) talked with his son for 15 minutes about failure and how to get better. They’re just the cutest group ever. After I missed for the workshop and returned today they were all excited to see me and were worried about where I had been. They even say excuse me when I am shooting on the field and they have to run around me.

An update on wedding openings – May is filling in quickly as is June. Sooo exciting!

I’ve been a busy lady shooting all sorts of things. Here is a picture during our wait between races at Kentucky Downs in Franklin, Ky. Hope all is well where you are…and not too windy. Happy Sunday.

Soo exciting, this week the new blog and site are set to launch. Thanks for your patience as we work really hard to get both looking amazing. Get excited! I sure am…and there are lots of blog posts to unveil – yesssss.

And since no post is good without pictures, here is a shot of Corie, Lizzie Loo’s intern, getting hit by a car…not really. We were just caught on opposite sides of the road. Sad to say, tomorrow looks to be Corie’s last day for a bit as Lizzie Loo winds down and I head back to school. Sad, I know.

A bit of a double post, with Corie’s senior pictures and an exciting announcement. As the senior season has fully begun, Corie will be joining Lizzie Loo as an intern. She’ll be answering the phone, coming along to sessions, doing office work, making me laugh and much more. She’s a blast and a HUGE help to have around. Enjoy her photos and get excited to meet her!

Here’s the start of my sister Sara’s senior session. Lucky for her (and me) we’re sisters and her session can go on for weeks and weeks as opposed to hours. These were shot on our Fourth of July trip to Michigan. The last one is for sure Sara’s personality. Enjoy!
